PSA South East in July 2021 – LinkedIn Gold with Tony Silver

Our July event is full of content and you won’t miss the football if England are playing in the semi-finals of Euro 2021 because we’re starting an hour earlier!

Our main speaker is Tony Silver. LinkedIn has become such a valuable platform for doing business that you can’t afford to ignore it – or use it badly!

Tony has been involved with LinkedIn for over 14 years and used this time to gain the experience and knowledge to allow him to launch his business back in 2018. Always rated in the LinkedIn search in the top two, his aim is to take people from being anonymous on the platform to a place they are getting what they need from it.

The title of his talk is ‘Be LinkedIn not LinkedOn’ and you’ll discover why just being ON LinkedIn is not enough. You need to use it and be IN it to reap the rewards.

Our South East slot this month sees our former regional president QJ giving us a 30-minute talk. What on? We don’t know yet! But, if you’ve met QJ, you’ll know that it will be valuable, quirky and entertaining, so one not to miss

And it’s Speaker Factor night at PSA South East. We have three keen speakers ready to take the challenge and present a five-minute talk, hoping to get to the final at the PSA Convention in October. Good luck to Louise Camby, Fran Nguyen and Michael Hemme.

And we’ll be finished in time to possibly watch England play in the semi-final of Euro 2021. So whilst you’re experiencing Gold with Silver, we hope England don’t end up with the bronze again this time!

We look forward to seeing you in our friendly region where you’ll always be sure of a great welcome.

Cancellation Policy: Please be aware that we do not accept cancellation of bookings for PSA meetings, as we make arrangements to support the number of places booked and incur costs that cannot often be recovered. If you have booked a place at a PSA event and are no longer able to attend, please ask around your local PSA community to see if another speaker wishes to attend in your place – we’re happy for you to transfer your booking, and just ask that you let us know by emailing [email protected].

Processing your personal data: Please note that when you book an event your data will be processed in accordance with the PSA’s Privacy Notice. When you register to attend a PSA event, we share your name and contact details with the person running the event. For regional meetings, this will be the Regional President. They may share these details with members of the Regional Committee, for the purposes of contacting you about the event, welcoming you, and following up with you afterwards..

We will be taking photographs throughout the event and may also be video recording the event. By purchasing a ticket you agree that all photography may be used at the discretion of the PSA and for the business of any speaker being filmed during the event. However, if you do not wish to appear or be identified in any photography or video footage please advise any Committee member on arrival at the event so we can, of course, accommodate your preference.

Welcome to PSA South East

The South East Region was set up in January 2015 and is a friendly and fun place to learn and network with fellow speakers. We cover Kent, Surrey and Sussex but of course, always welcome PSA members and guests from across the country.

Where we meet

When we’re not meeting online, our events are held at the lovely Brands Hatch Place Hotel which is just a couple of miles off the M25, so easily accessible from all around our region.

When we meet

Meetings are usually on a Tuesday and from 2021 onwards we’ll be meeting 9 times a year, in January, February, March, May, June, July, September, November and December.

We also encourage our members to arrange one-to-ones with other members to learn more about what they do and how they can help one another.
