Another phenomenal meeting this month helping you to speak more and speak better both online and on stage.

As usual we’ll be on Zoom.

Many of us will have been to The Speaking Business Summit so there’ll be plenty to share. And that’s in addition to phenomenal speakers we have and all with just one goal in mind… to help you speak more and speak better.

8.30 am – Before the meeting actually starts we have an optional Mindfulness session as well as networking, banter and chat.

9.00 am – If mindfulness is not your thing then log on for some pre-meeting networking and a warm welcome.

9.15 am – The meeting will start promptly as we settle down to learn from our speakers how to drive your speaking business upward and onward.

So who do we have for you this month? Well, it’s all home grown Yorkshire talent starting with…

John Hotowka
Pulling More Speaking Business Out Of The Hat

John Hotowka is BURSTING to spill the beans and he’s not holding back. For the last 32 years he’s been self-employed as a speaker, humourist and magician and he’ll share with you his top tips on running a speaking business and you may be surprised at what he has to say.

In 2009 he went back to basics and decided to re-build his speaking career from the ground up and you have the opportunity to learn from his journey.

You’ll also have the opportunity to pick John’s brains during a Q and A so you can learn from John’s mistakes and successes.

You might just pick up a trick or two to take your career to the next level… if you dare.

You’ll learn:

• How to work out what the right business model is for you, and where to find your clients.

• If you’ll need to showcase, if so where and how would you leverage that to generate contacts that grow in to leads?

• How to make the PSA work for you.

John Hotowka is a business speaker, humorist and magician who has first-hand experience of the highs and lows associated with running a business. He started his solo career in 1989 and built a very successful international business. In 2002 he suffered a crisis in confidence and nearly lost it all.

He studied high achievers, NLP, Neuroscience and read through a lorry-load of personal development material. He also gained extensive industry knowledge and insight working with numerous blue chip organisations and small businesses.

After distilling his findings he developed his ‘Achievement Thinking’ methodology which he used to rebuild his life and career, piece by piece.

He now teaches ‘Achievement Thinking’ to countless corporate and smaller business clients each year, equipping his audiences with the tools they need to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Next up we have:

Leon Bamforth
Are we nearly there yet? How to enable your audiences to thrive in 2021.

The pandemic has turned our world upside down, but you adapted and managed to get through. Well done!

Now as you start to work with more audiences again, you are going to find many that are exhausted and drained. You may find that what worked before does not work quite as well, as perhaps your audience have not regained the focus and drive that they had before. This is your opportunity to serve them!

Leon is going to share with you the secret that he delivers to business leaders to enable you to create the conditions to enable individuals, teams and ultimately companies to thrive. The answer is… to get back to basics!

In this session Leon will help you get your audience members closer to their potential by developing shared visions and by avoiding nightmares.

You’ll learn:

• How to create the conditions that enable each audience member to thrive

• How to focus your audience on what matters

• How to energise your audience

Leon is an award winning speaker and business consultant who has led and facilitated multi-million pound (GBP) large scale transformation programmes for large and multi-national corporations. Working in, as well as with, business is a big part of what he does. He is an in-demand business consultant, commercial mediator and professional speaker who helps business succeed by building connected teams that share visions and avoid nightmares.

Our showcase speaker this month is:

Sobiya Jawaid
The Power and Choice

The choices you make can be exceptionally powerful when they are rooted in your values- the aspects of your business that are important to you.

Customers and clients are not interested in the WHAT or HOW of your business but in the WHY. Having crystal clarity on your values informs the WHY and purpose of your business.

When customers and clients know this, they form an authentic and loyal connection with you which is exceptionally important in the success of your business.

How well do you know your values and what is the WHY and purpose of your business?

You’ll learn two essential questions to help and support you with your Values and purpose.

Sobiya Jawaid is a Leadership and Confidence Coach. She empowers leaders to create breakthroughs in their confidence so they can lead with clarity and purpose.

Sobiya is one of the first hijab wearing, female British Muslim Black Belt kickboxers to have represented England at European level, where she won silver medal. She uses her experiences to hold space in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion space as a Consultant.

She is a qualified Biology Teacher having served in the profession for 15 years before resigning to follow her purpose as a Coach. She is a proud mum and wife and is leaving a legacy in the world. She is unconstrained and unstoppable!

And that’s not all, as usual…

THE FIRST TWO PEOPLE booking their ticket will have 1 minute to showcase themselves.

There’s networking, learning of hints, tips and ideas from each other too.

We’d love you to invite guests. The more people we’ll be able to help to speak more and speak better.

We’ll finish about 12.00 pm.

And once the event is over, for those who’d like to hang on there’ll be post event networking and relaxed discussion.

Once again this is going to be an absolutely awesome meeting! Please invite guests, our speakers deserve a great and appreciative audience.

We’d love to see you there!
