Last year was an interesting one for us speakers. We’re very aware that many speakers found it tough and struggled to promote their businesses. That’s why we’re running the Masterclass again – online this time – to help you focus on the basics of marketing and sales that can help you make 2021 a great year.
Book now for the Get More Clients & Get More Bookings – The Official PSA Speak More Masterclass. It’s back by popular demand. We run this event twice a year, just for PSA members, and the next one will be online on Friday 5 March 2021.
In the morning you’ll learn how to identify and attract your ideal clients, with Chantal Cornelius from Appletree Marketing, a Fellow and Marketing Director of the PSA.
She’ll teach you about the three marketing methods that work the best for speakers, coaches, consultants and trainers– the ones that you can focus on without having to spend a fortune on your marketing. Chantal will demystify marketing for you and show you a step by step process to identify your ideal clients, get their attention and attract them to you. It’s not a dark art. It’s a process. And Chantal will teach you that process.
After a lunch break, Simon Hazeldine, the International Speaker, bestselling author, sales performance consultant and PSA Fellow, will show you how to turn the enquiries you generate through your marketing into paying clients. He’ll show you how to persuade them to pay you what you want to charge with simple negotiation techniques. ’Sales’ is not a dirty word and if you run your own business, then you are a salesperson. It’s not about being pushy. It’s about ethical sales and repeat customers who keep coming back. It is also about developing the confidence to sell yourself and Simon will give you the tools to help you do this.

The investment is usually over £200, but because we don’t have to pay venue costs this time, the cost will be just £99 +VAT if you book before midnight on Sunday 31 January. After that the cost will increase to £145 +VAT. There are only 14 places available on each Masterclass and they always sell out, so don’t miss out. Cancellation Policy: Please be aware that we do not accept cancellation of bookings for PSA meetings, as we make arrangements to support the number of places booked and incur costs that cannot often be recovered. If you have booked a place at a PSA event and are no longer able to attend, please ask around your local PSA community to see if another speaker wishes to attend in your place – we’re happy for you to transfer your booking, and just ask that you let us know by emailing [email protected].
Processing your personal data: Please note that when you book an event your data will be processed in accordance with the PSA’s Privacy Notice. When you register to attend a PSA event, we share your name and contact details with the person running the event. For regional meetings, this will be the Regional President. They may share these details with members of the Regional Committee, for the purposes of contacting you about the event, welcoming you, and following up with you afterwards..
We will be taking photographs throughout the event and may also be video recording the event. By purchasing a ticket you agree that all photography may be used at the discretion of the PSA and for the business of any speaker being filmed during the event. However, if you do not wish to appear or be identified in any photography or video footage please advise any Committee member on arrival at the event so we can, of course, accommodate your preference.
