Awards and Recognition
The PSA recognises members and aspiring speakers through a number of different awards which are given at our Annual Convention.
This is our highest award – the Professional Speaking Award of Excellence – and is given to Members or Fellows of the PSA who have consistently demonstrated platform excellence and professionalism in addition to making a contribution to the PSA. The PSAE is awarded at our Annual Convention. A full list of PSAE recipients can be found at this page.
The Founders Award is an occasional award given to exceptional individuals for accomplishments reflecting outstanding credit, respect, honour and admiration in the PSA and the speaking profession. The award is given at our Annual Convention. A full list of Founders Award recipients can be found at this page.
Honorary Fellowship is awarded each year at our Annual Convention to speakers who demonstrated service to the profession of speaking or to the PSA. Honorary Fellows do not have to be members of the PSA and there is no charge for their membership fees. The award is given at our Annual Convention. The Speaker Factor award is given each year to the individual who is judged to be the best new speaker of the year based on their delivery, script and stage craft shown in a five-minute speech.
